Just like each day the setting sun surrenders its smile to night,
Enveloping the world in a world of his own with his fragile and mystical light.
Like times before we close the door, with our unfinished work behind,
And with heavenly gazes upon fatigued faces and homeward bound dreams on our mind,
We escape from the stare of our daily nightmare, not caring what tomorrow will find.

Just like each night the rising moon surrenders yet more of her face,
To her each and every friend who dares to lift their heart-broken gaze.
As the light-hearted dance and begin their romance, the walflowers welcome their tears,
Mourning. For morning will soon haunt them as it has for so many long years.

Such a day will come when the setting sun will appear as it has in the past,
But the daily fright that is captured by night will be feeble, and vanish at last!
Happiness creeps when the dismal world sleeps, and meets with the souls who are crying,
She speaks in a way as if to say that she'll come if we only keep trying.
Pain may be hell, a powerful spell that crushes beyond repare,
Can you be so blind as to give up your mind when Happiness may be right there?
She'll stand by your side. Although she may hide behind your mind she will spring in the air.

So on this day, with the setting sun's shaddow shimmering by your side,
Your angel will strive to lead you towards life where you can't find a reason to hide.
When your heart is broken and depression unspoken, your soul can't be stolen by grief,
Maybe in a day you'll be taken away, you'll be saved if you only believe.
You'll be saved if you only believe,
In the coming of your glory's eve.

Weaseldance, This writing that you have penned is absolutely beautifully conveyed. Yes, the “eve of glory” like the eve of each grand happening that comes and takes place in our lives so too an eve of glory. As Life Flows on. Connie

Thanks. I try to live by that everyday, and encourage others to live that way.
